EFT is an innovative tool that helped me rapidly transform my negative, limited focus and shift into a better thought/feeling place. This transformation opened a healing doorway beyond my imagination to a whole new vision full of purpose and possibility.
My passion is to share EFT with people who feel stuck, but want to move forward because there's a hunger for something beyond the pain and trauma. I will gently guide you through the dark places. The intensity will subside, your emotions will be soothed, and you'll begin to notice what's possible for yourself as you feel peace and calm in your bodyand mind.
My approach to EFT is to meet you where you are now in your experience. I hold a space for you to speak your truth and explore your experience. This honoring of your experience creates a level of safety within that helps you trust yourself and the process. The disturbing issue can then begin to safely evolve away and empower you to feel better fast and live the life you are wanting.
In the grip of trauma and emotional turmoil, it's incredibly challenging to see what's possible, what you want for yourself, or what your future holds. As we tap, explore, and honor your present reality, the power that your emotional distress seems to have over you diminishes. EFT has transcendently helped me and my clients experience expansions of the heart and mind. These expansions will stretch your reality and empower you to step into the flow of your passion and purpose. How you want to feel and move forward in your life is possible. However, it begins with honoring what is true for you right now.

Julie's Professional Background
I am an Accredited Certified Advanced EFT Practitioner and Supervising Mentor through EFT International. In 2011, pioneered the use of EFT at Backus Hospital's acute psychiatric unit in Norwich, CT. I helped patients self-soothe and calm any emotional dysregulation that often plagues those inhabiting an acute psychiatric environment.
In 2013, I became one of the founding EFT practitioners involved in The Tapping Solution Foundation for Newtown: Stress and Trauma Relief Project with Nick Ortner and Dr. Lori Leyden. I took part in a year-long intensive training for trauma relief and resiliency, which allowed me to heal my trauma, so I could become fully present and hold an unwaivering space for others and their trauma. We were the first emotional rapid response team in the United States to use EFT with those affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. I also provided EFT mentoring and supervision to licensed mental health professionals serving Newtown by helping them develop their professional competence and confidence using EFT for trauma.
In March 2018, Dr. Leyden asked me to accompany her to Parkland Florida to provide EFT sessions to survivors, educators, community leaders, and families affected by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas School shooting. During our time in Parkland, we also trained over 100 licensed mental health professionals in an evidenced-based masterclass series to skillfully use EFT for trauma.
One might think that working in Sandy Hook and Parkland would be heartbreaking. Instead, this work has broken my heart open to what's possible for healing and shown me that with love, willingness, and the "right" resources, such as EFT, we can heal anything!
